Breville Juicers Vs Jack LaLanne: Which Are the Best?

Although Jack LaLanne and Breville juicers are both popular, one of them has much higher overall ratings in consumer satisfaction.

Today there are a wide variety of juicers available and trying to figure out which juicer is going to provide you with quality services and a decent price can be difficult. Doing a little research before buying is a good idea, so that you don't get lured into thinking that in order to get the best you have to pay the highest price or that just because a juicer is priced more economically that it will not deliver the same quality results as its more expensive counter parts.

For those that are looking to buy a quality juicer and are having difficulty deciding between Jack LaLanne juicers and Breville juicers, it is best to do a side by side comparison.

Power

The first aspect to compare is the power of the motor. The Breville juicers offer a 1000 watt motor compared to the 250 watt motor that Jack LaLanne juicers offers. Why is the power of the motor important? The power of the motor will determine motor durability and juice quality. The weaker the motor the more difficult it will be for the juicer to break down the hardier fruits and vegetables. Also the higher the motor wattage the quicker the juicer will be able to juice your fruits and veggies.

Speed Settings

You should also take a look at the different speed settings a juicer offers. Most Breville juicers have two settings and the Jack LaLanne juicers have only one. Having more than one setting allows you to control the speed and the power that is being used to juice your fruits and vegetables based on how hardy they are. Obviously is will not take the same amount of power to juice a strawberry as it will to juice a carrot.

Juice Quality

The quality of the juice that is made is also important. While some will argue that it will be difficult to decide on juice quality without buying both juicers and comparing them, you can take a look at the juicer as a whole to determine which will produce the better quality.

The point of juicing is to get as many of the nutrients out of the fruits and vegetables as possible. A juicer with a higher motor power, such as a Breville juicer, means that it will be able to provide more juice for the same amount of fruits and vegetables used in Jack LaLanne juicers. This can be determined by the pulp that is left behind after juicing--the drier the pulp the more nutrients in the juice.

Ease of Clean Up

As wonderful as any juicer can be in every other way, no one wants to spend more time than necessary to clean up a juicer after creating a healthy drink. There have been numerous reports that the Jack LaLanne juicer is difficult to clean because of the wire mesh filter it has. The Breville juicer has multiple parts that can be placed in the dishwasher.

A Better Machine

Breville models are generally a higher-quality choice for a new juicer. Both will deliver great juice, but the Breville might do it just a little better.
